My Pink Stamper Challenge- Bird

Here I go again!!!

There are sooo many challenges today!!!  I couldn't resist entering them all!!

This card is for the My Pink Stamper challenge.  The only directions she gave was create a project using a bird!!  That's it!  And this is what I came up with!!

The little birdie is from the Live Simply cricut cart.  The patterned paper is from Heidi Grace (I just got it today at Big Lots, along with the pink textured cardstock, which is Bazzil!!)  I was at Michaels a few weeks ago and found this pink ribbon.  Let me just say that I love it!  It is felt!!!  I couldn't wait to get to use and I finally got the chance!  The Happy Birthday is heat embossed. I added the stitching and a little bling for the eye. This is such a TWEET card, lol!  I couldn't resist!!

Thanks for putting up with ALL my posts today...I've just been in a crafting mood lately!! :)

Crafting with Christina-Companion Challenge - Falling for Fall

Ok, I'm back again!!  :)

Cristina from Crafting with Cristina is having another Companion Challenge.  This weeks challenge was to create a fall card or project using the colors red, orange, and yellow and it must also include leaves.  The paper I used is from the Autumn Spendor stack by DCWV.  The glitter apple cutout was also from that stack.  I just cut it out and popped it up on the card.  I also used some brown and red grosgrain ribbon.  And on top of that I placed some coordinating buttons with cording knotted in them.  I love how this card turned out!!  I just love fall and all the colors!!  And it is perfect for FALL!!!

Throwback Thursday Challenge - "Old School Style"

Hello Everyone!!  Happy Fall!

I hope everyone is doing great!!  Fall is here, although it is still very hot!!!  I won't be long before Halloween!!  For this post, I entered Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge...The challenge was to create a card without using the Cricut using patterned paper!!  Well I have only been into card making for about 6 months so I have never HAD to make a card without my handy Cricut!!  I was a bit of a challenge just thinking up something.  But I have Halloween sticker pad and I just picked a cute sticker from it!!!  I used some patterned paper that I got from Hobby Lobby, added the "Happy Halloween" sticker on a matte, added a little ribbon and I was done!!

Although it was a bit of a challenge, it was nice not having to look for ideas on all my carts!!  Think it turned out cute!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Crafting with Christina-Companion Challenge-"Back to School" AND I GOT A GYPSY!!!!!

Hello again!!!

I hope everyone is having a great weekend!!  Well I work on weekends but I came home to a nice surprise!!  I ordered my Gypsy last Friday and I came today!!  It came with 6 cartridges!!  Gypsy Font and Gypsy Wanderings of course, plus 4 others that downloaded when I updated it!!  I have no clue what I'm doing but I will learn!!

Christina from Crafting with Christina is having her Companion Challenge this week!  My daughter just started Pre-K, so I did a layout of her first day!!  She was so excited!!

I used the DCWV Grade School chalkboard paper!  I wasn't sure what other colors to use, so I just pulled them from her outfit and backpack.  And just added some black and white ribbon to bring it together!  I think it turned out cute!!

Have a great night!!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge-"Just Because" card

Today's post is for the Tuesday Challenge for Made by Momo!!  The challenge was to make and send a "Just Because" card.  I just made this simple card.  No cricut at all...Just a little scrap paper, a pretty punch, and a little ribbon!  I have had this stamp for a while and never used it.  Finally, I found the perfect card to use it for!!

Throwback Thursday Challenge-Spider Card

I'm back today with my entry for Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge!  The only rules were to used an older cartridge of your choice!!  I used the Paper Doll Dress Up cartridge for this card.  The little spider is just too cute.  I love this cartridge because you don't have to use the dolls on it!  There are so many other images that can be used alone!  I used the K & Company Spooktacular paper stack, along with the purple polka dot paper from Hobby Lobby.  I added the googly eyes to the spider! Doesn't he just look adorable...Finally, I used my white gel pen to outline his smile lines!

Have a great day!!

Halloween Hairbows!!

Hi Everyone!!

Fall is in the air!!  I've been thinking alot about Halloween lately.  And my sis-in-law asked me to make a hair bow for her little girl for Halloween.  So I jumped all over it! lol  I have two little girls of my own and I LOVE making hair bows!  Here is what I came up with!  Hope you like them!

I usually post cards but since my blog name does include "PIGTAILS", I like to include some different posts every now and then! My next Halloween venture is "trying" to make personalized trick-or-treat bags using the" freezer paper" method. I will try to do a tutorial post on it!! I bought the materials I need yesterday and have been itching to get started, but couldn't find the time today...So hopefully I can have that up within the next week or so!!!

Thanks for stopping by!!!

Live Simply card...Cute deer!!

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is enjoying a great Sunday!!  Me and my girls are having a great day at home!!  Just enjoying being at home together!

This cutie of a card was made using the Live Simply Lite cartridge...I didn't make this card for anyone particular but I love!  I felt really inspired today for some reason and this is what I came up with.  Both the frame and fawn are from the Live Simply cart.  The green mat for the frame was embossed with the Bloom Dots cuttlebug folder. I used my White Sakura gel pen to add the stitching and dots, and also to add the white parts of the fawns eye.  I have had this cartridge for a while and never really used it but there are some great little critters on it.  I will definitely be using it more often!!

A BOY CARD!! Yay!

Hi Everyone!!

So I don't do many boy cards!!  I have two daughters,  4 nieces, and only 2 nephews...So needless to say I mostly do girl themes.  But my oldest nephews birthday is coming up so I decided to try a boy card out!  This car was cut from the Graphically Speaking cartridge...I used yellow Stickles for the headlights to give them a little something.  I love the colors and how the card came out.

Girls Rule!!

Hello Everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a great day!!  I just got the Cricut Lite cart "Slumber Party"!!  It's too cute!!  I made this cut card while my 14 month old was napping!!  I cut the cellphone and all layers at 3 3/4 inches.  I didn't add the little numbers on the button, they were way too tiny!!  This paper stack is from Big Lots...Only $5 for a HUGE stack.  I love the colors and patterns in it.  Can't remember the name of it though, lol.  I thought this would be a cute card for a pre-teen!!  It has such fun colors and of course the cell phone!!  Just wanted to share my newest card creation!!  Hope you like it!!
