Birthday Card for my hubby!!

I hope everyone is having a great Saturday!!  Well, we are snowed in!!  But that's ok, more craft time!!

My husband's birthday is in a couple weeks, so I made a card for him!  I haven't made many "manly cards" so this was a bit of a challenge.  I used the Smiley cards cart for this birthday cake.  To make it more manly, I didn't use the face parts.  The colors used are more manly too!!  Using my crop-a-dile big bite, I added some eyelets for a little embellishment.  Hope he likes it!!

Throwback Thursday Challenge-Heart theme

I'm back again with another challenge entry...This time it's Emma's Throwback Thursday Challenge!!
The challenge is to create a project with a "heart" on it!!

This is actually the first Valentine card I have ever made!!  I designed this card on my Gypsy...The heart from Gypsy Wanderings, as is the "Love You" cut.  I welded two scallop circles together for the card base and cut a circle for the first layer.

For the glittery heart, I used my Xyron machine and glittered it!! First time for that too!  Hubby got me the Xyron for Christmas!!  That thing works perfectly for applying glitter!! Hope you like my card!!

Momo's Tuesday Challenge-Snow theme

Hello!!

Well, I'm back today with my entry for Momo's first Tuesday Challenge of the year!!  The challenge is to create a "snow themed" project!!  That's it!!  Here is what I came up with!!

I used the Jolly Holidays Cricut Lite cart. The background is embossed with the Houndstooth cuttlebug folder.

I used stickles and glitter to accent the snow "efftect".
The sentiment was heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I love how my card turned out!!  Hope you like it too!!

I can't wait to get started on birthday plans and decoration!! I will definitely be posting those projects as I get them done!!
