"Tall" Birthday Card

Hi again!!

The post for today is a birthday card!!  I love making birthday cards!!  They are sooo fun!  So, my sister-in-laws birthday is this week...I wanted to make her a card, of course!!  I recently picked up the Playtime Stack from DCWV.  It is printed on craft cardstock!!  Love this stack!! It is adorable...So I had to use it for this card.

I used the little present cut from the Stamping cartridge.  I love the craft cardstock combined with the patterend paper.  Its so muted yet sooo cute at the same time!!  Hope you like it!!

Thanks for stopping by!!

Owl Goodie Bag Toppers

Hello Everyone!!

Finally, here is the pic of the owl goodie bag toppers I have been promising!! I think they turned out so so cute!! We did a pink and brown theme...These were made for my daughters 1st birthday party. Everyone loved them!! I filled the cello bags with candy for the older children. And for the younger guests I filled them with colorful Goldfish!! They were a big hit! And sooo easy to do! The owl was cut from the Stamping Solutions cartridge and the 1 was cut from Plantin Schoolbook. I had so much fun making these.

Have a great weekend and HAPPY CRAFTING!!

1st Birthday Card

I hope everyone is having great 4th of July holiday!! I had to work today but fortunately I got off early! Yay!
My niece is turning 1 in just over a month and I made this card for her!! It's hard to believe my daughter and my little niece are already almost 1 year old. They are only a month apart, so they will always have someone to play with (or fight with) lol!
The flower on this card is from the Stamping Solutions cartridge. The "1" is cut from Plantin Schoolbook. I layered several flower cuts to get lots of dimension. Then I added stickles to the one, which I think looks great and adds just the right amount of bling!! I did something a little different with the ribbon this time! Instead of just using 1 color, I used two. I love the look it gives! Finally, I added the blue button with a glue dot to finish off the flower!
I hope my little niece loves her birthday card!

1st Birthday Owl Card

Hello Everyone!!

Sorry it has been a while since I've posted!! But I'm back with a sweet little card for my daughters 1st Birthday! She will be 1 in less than two weeks :( It's so sad!! lol The theme for her party is Owls with pink and brown for the colors.

The owl on this card was cut from the Stamping solutions cartridge and the ONE was cut from Plantin Schoolbook. The circles behind the owl are also from Plantin Schoolbook. I used the border punch and then added the ribbon.

I will soon be posting a pic of the goodie bags that I made for the party also. So stay tuned for this also.

Love Birds...Anniversary Card

Hello! I hope everyone had a great weekend! As for me, I worked ALL weekend! But thankfully for me, I now have 7 days off. Yay! Cricut here I come!! lol
Ok, this card is for my husbands parents. It's an anniversary card. They have been married 36 years!!! That is awesome, huh? The arch was cut from the Paper Dolls Dress Up (I love this arch, it's sooo pretty) The heart came from the Stamping cartridge and the birds are from Serenade. And I just finished it off with some coordinating ribbon.
I don't usually use so many cartridges on one card but this is a great example of how to mix and match cartridges and still get a very cohesive outcome!!
Happy card making!! See you next time!

30 Birthday Invitations...DONE!

These are the invites I was asked to make for my neices 6th birthday! I think they turned out pretty cute! It is definately a big task, making 30 of one thing. But I really enjoyed it. Anything to be doing what I love to do!! The butterfly was cut from the Stamping cartridge. And the "you're invited" stamp was bought at Michaels. I used a corner rounder punch to round off all four corners. The ribbon was added by using a ribbon hole punch and then threading the ribbon through. The ribbon took FOREVER to thread each invite ONE by ONE. I am pleased with how they turned out and so is my little neice. Which is what matters! :)

Oh Baby!!

Finally, I made a baby card! I have been wanting to make make a sweet baby card. This card will go with the hairbow holder I made for baby Rylee (below). I think I'm addicted to making cards now! Someone help me, lol! The little carriage was cut using the Stretch Your Imagination cricut cartridge. And the "Oh Baby" was cut using the Stamping cartridge. I used a corner punch (can't remember the name) to adorn the corners. Hope you have a great day!
