Glittery Hairbow Holder

Here is another fun hairbow holder!! I got the wooden plaque from Wal-Mart for $1.12! Can't beat that. The wooden butterfly also came from Wal-Mart but they no longer sell them. I used blue painters tape for made the stripes. And for the flower border along the bottom I used blue painters tape and punched it with a Martha Stewart border punch...It made sort of a stencil. All paint colors, ribbon, and border punch were also purchased at Wal-Mart.

Lastly, I added the Prima flowers and buttons. I used my Glitter Mod Podge to cover the whole plaque and just on the raised portion of the butterfly!!

I am soon going to venture out and TRY to sell a few things on Etsy!! This will be my first listing. Wish me luck!!

Initial Hairbow Holders

Hello Everyone!!

I hope everyone is having a great day!! Mine didn't start off to well. I woke up with a killer headache. But thankfully after some ibuprofen and my husband watching the kids and letting me sleep it off, I am much better now. So I thought I would post these adorable hairbow holders I made yesterday. My friend texted me yesterday morning wanting to know if I could make two more hairbow holders for her by Saturday. They are for a birthday party. Of course I said yes!! I love making these things!!!

Since I had already done the Personalized Name Plaque in bright pink and island blue color, I figured I would just use the same colors for the hairbow holders. I love the color combo! It's so bright and summery (not sure if that's even a word)

Anyway, I bought the wooden letters at Hobby Lobby for $2.49 a peice. I just painted the letters with the pink and blue colors. Then went over just the top portion of the letter with Extreme Glitter paint (from Wal-Mart) It adds just the right amount of sparkle. Then I used some coordinating Prima flowers and buttons to add a little embellishment. And lastly, I hot glued the ribbon for the streamers and hanger.

Yet another VERY cute hairbow holder :)

I love the color combination of pink and brown!! I decided to make my 9 month old (who has yet to have any hair, lol) a hairbow holder for her room. I bought the wooden shape from the Dollar Tree and painted it pink. Then used my Cricut to cut the "M" out of contact paper (to use as a stencil). Then painted in the letter in brown. Finally, I added the Prima flowers and the hanger and streamers! It turned out sooo pretty!

Another Hairbow Holder

Here is another cute Hairbow Holder. I made this one for a couple that has a baby girl on the way!! Her name will be Rylee. I bought the wooden oval from the Dollar Tree! Can't beat that, huh? The ribbon came from Wal-Mart. I used my Cricut to cut her name and flowers using the Plantin Schoolbook cartridge. I just used contact paper as a stencil and painted it in! And just hot glued the ribbon for the hanger and streamers. I think it turned out so cute!

Purse Hairbow Holder

This hairbow holder was again made for a friend to give as a birthday gift. The process of making this one is the same as the ladybug one with the exception of the stripes. I just used painters tape to mask off the lines and there you have it...Perfect stripes!! All supplies were bought at Wal-Mart with the exception of the wooden purse...I purchased that at Hobby Lobby.

Ladybug Hairbow Holder...Very cute!!

This is the cutest project! I made this hairbow holder for a friend who was giving it as a birthday gift. The letter, ribbon, wooden ladybug, and paint came from Wal-Mart. The wooden circles came from Hobby Lobby.

I painted the wooden letter white. Then painted the wooden circles red and black and attached them with hot glue. The ribbon streamers and hanger were also hot glued on. This is a very simple but very cute project! I had so much fun with it! I think it turned out great...What do you think?
